Great location. We needed to be near the Mackay Base Hospital, 5 minute drive away. Our room had a lovely courtyard to sit in. The room size was good. The air-conditionor was nice and quiet and worked well. There was a queen bed and a single bed. Our bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was well stocked, hand soap, body lotion and shaving cream. Shower has shampoo, conditioner and body wash in container pumps. Nice, hot, relaxing shower. There is a microwave, toaster and kettle in the room. Tea and coffee and milk provided. The reception staff were friendly. The continental breakfast included in the price was nice. Bread and spreads, cereals and milk, collected from reception. The room No. 28 was quiet, on the ground floor and had undercover parking at the door. Highly recommend and will use again if needed.

Everything is well maintained. The place is older and dated decor but clean. White linen and towels, great kitchen fit out. Water in the fridge. Includes a nice breakfast with juice, cereal and a variety of toast breads with many jams and honey. We were pleasantly surprised and will stay there again in our return journey. The reception guy, Allan, was great too. Couldn’t do enough to oblige.

The accommodation catered to our needs. Alan was extremely kind. He went above and beyond in accommodating us. It was a brief stay so that we could attend a funeral. I would happily recommend this property for its staff, space, convenience, cleanliness and location. Loved the access to a verandah space too.

Large room ,microwave and a couple of armchairs made it comfortable . Continental breakfast in a dining room was a very welcome addition to our stay . Very quiet even though off Nebo Road . Yes the odd plane coming over , but its not annoying to warrant not staying here , the price we paid was fair.
